Built-in 3-micron pre-filter / separator as standard — no X1 coalescing pre-filter needed at the (hot) inlet (high-temperature dryer).
* “Oil-free” air: residual oil ≤ 0.003 mg/m³ (oil vapour) — ISO 8573-1 oil class 1, per the AC carbon filter specification.

- Water separator — at the compressor — removes bulk liquid water right at the compressor outlet. A separate component from the dryer, required upstream (often already in place). View water separators →
- 3-micron pre-filter — built into the dryer (standard) — high-temperature dryer: the hot air is first cooled (built-in aftercooler) then filtered to 3 micron inside. No external X1 coalescing pre-filter at the inlet — coalescing does not work on hot air.
- XA after-filter — after the dryer (optional) — captures fine oil droplets (0.01 µm) for very clean outlet air.
- AC carbon filter — after (optional) — removes oil vapours and odours: “oil-free” air. Add when needed — rarely required.
