1 · Total compressor flow BNQ 3650-900:2013 standard Pressure equipment interconnected by piping without a shut-off valve may be treated as a single piece of equipment for the required relieving-capacity calculation. The flow of all compressors connected to the network is therefore added together.

2 · MAWP (PMMP) of the weakest link Weakest link The weakest link can be any element of the network. Review the maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP / PMMP) of each receiver, each fitting and each pipe, then keep the lowest value.

Method — Set pressure rounded down to the nearest 5 psig ≤ MAWP (never above the weakest link). ASME Section XIII capacity = factor × (1.10 × set pressure + 14.7). HP estimate → 5 SCFM/HP. ACFM ≈ SCFM (atmospheric intake). Results to be confirmed.
