Which equipment for a portable compressor?
On a portable diesel job-site compressor, Super-Dry recommends a Good / Better / Best train: an FSD water separator removes bulk liquid, a SAF filter removes oil and particulate, then a D Series dryer dries the air at the point of use. Add each stage to your quote as needed.
Job-site applications

Sandblasting
Wet air contaminates the abrasive and cuts its flow (more abrasive, more labour), causes flash rusting and hurts coating adhesion. Over time, moisture clogs the blast pot’s internal parts and damages valves and controls. Dry air improves mobile blasting, reduces pot clogging and increases profitability.

Mobile diesel compressor
Removes moisture and contaminants (oil, particulate) from the hot, saturated air of a diesel compressor; protects tools from corrosion and premature wear. Mounts on a dolly and installs away from the compressor to let the air cool — with an after-cooler and a water separator upstream.

Paint shop & spray booth
Water in the lines makes paint drip, bubble and “fish-eye”, dilutes the product, lengthens cure time and hurts adhesion. Prepare the air in three steps: trap bulk liquid (water separator), remove particulate and oil (filter), then dry the humidity (dryer) — to eliminate re-work and improve the finish.

Air tools & nail guns
Water, oil and dirt cut productivity and raise maintenance and costs. The inline ATD dryer, fitted right at the tool, removes moisture, extends nailer life and prevents tools from freezing in cold weather.
