Power meter configurator

Answer the questions and the tool assembles the Accuenergy Acuvim-L configuration: part number, communication module and a summary ready to add to your quote request. When unsure, choose “Choose for me”, Onyx M3 decides. No prices here: the official quote sets pricing.

1. The power meter

Accuracy class

Power meter accuracy. CL (class 0.5) suits compressed-air audits. Choose EL (class 0.2, more precise and pricier) only if resale-grade billing requires it.

Mounting / display

Installation type. “D”: a display unit that mounts on a panel (most common). “M”: a DIN-rail module without a screen (a remote display is still available).

Current input (sensors)

Current sensor type. Rogowski coils (333 mV) install in minutes without cutting power, ideal for air audits. Choose 5 A/1 A if classic current transformers are already in place.

Maximum current (in amps) drawn by the measured equipment at full load, usually on the motor or compressor nameplate (FLA). The tool automatically selects the matching Rogowski coil (reading range with a safety margin).

A

Cable length between each coil and the power meter. 2 m suits most cabinets; pick a longer lead if the meter is far from the measurement point.

How your supply is wired. Most plants are three-phase 4-wire wye (3 sensors). When unsure, compare with the diagrams below.

Neutral sensor (4th input)

Also measures neutral current (a 4th sensor). Useful on some 4-wire installations; otherwise leave “No”.

How many points do you want to track? Plan one power meter per compressor (or per feeder) to measure.

Power meter supply

Voltage powering the power meter itself. P1V4 (100–415 Vac) covers almost all cases. Choose P2V4 (20–60 Vdc) only if your control gear runs on low-voltage DC.

Anti-tamper seal (option “S”)

Adds a seal for protected/official metering. Usually “No”.
