VPFlowScope In-line — in-line flow meter for point-of-use measurement
The VPFlowScope In-line is a 4-in-1 flow meter that mounts directly in the piping of a workstation or machine to measure mass flow, pressure, temperature and totalized flow. Bi-directional, it is built to quantify point-of-use consumption and make local leaks visible.
Field problem
Once you know total flow at the compressor room outlet, the next step is knowing who consumes what. The VPFlowScope In-line measures the workstation, machine or branch: you set a “best-practice” flow per piece of equipment, and any drift — a leak that springs up inside a machine, where no one can hear it — stands out in the data.
Measurable benefits
Three sizes (0.5″, 1″, 2″) cover up to 1000 m³n/h (600 SCFM). Point-of-use measurement lets you bill compressed air by actual consumption rather than by floor area, and prioritize leak repairs by cost. The 4–20 mA and Modbus RTU outputs integrate it with VPVision, the CALMS platform or an ONYX kit.

Frequently asked questions
What's an in-line meter for, versus an insertion probe?
The in-line mounts directly in the piping of a workstation or machine: it's ideal for point-of-use consumption and local leak detection. The insertion probe (VPFlowScope M or Probe) targets larger headers and room outlets.
Which size should I choose?
Three sizes — 0.5″, 1″ and 2″, BSP or NPT thread — cover up to 1000 m³n/h (600 SCFM). We confirm the size based on your flow and connection at quoting.
Are straight pipe runs required?
Yes: plan for roughly 10 pipe diameters upstream and 5 downstream for a reliable reading. Onyx M3 validates the location before ordering.
